Mark Texeira
Mark Texeira is a classically trained painter and comic book artist, born in upper Manhattan near Spanish Harlem and raised in the Bronx. His work combines gritty textures, dramatic shadows, and a raw, weathered quality that gives the artwork a dark and intense feel.
Mark has contributed to numerous comic book titles, including Masters of the Universe, DC Power Lords, Jonah Hex, Psi-Force, The Punisher War Journal, Ghost Rider, Wolverine, Sabretooth, Spider-Man: Legacy of Evil, Black Panther, Moon Knight, Vampirella, Cyclops, and Hercules, just to name a few.
His distinctive style has made his work instantly recognizable to comic book fans around the world.
Javier Saltares
Javier Saltares (born 1961 in the Bronx) is an American comic book artist and illustrator known for his extensive work in the 1990s and beyond. His career began in the mid-1980s with background and layout work for Mark Texeira at DC Comics, followed by contributions to titles like Astro-Busters and The Roosevelt Project. He subsequently moved to Marvel Comics, where he became a penciler, inker, and cover artist on major titles including Iron Man, Nightmask, Spitfire, and Wonder Man. He also worked on the official Marvel Robocop movie adaptation. Saltares is perhaps best recognized for his long-running tenure as a primary artist on Ghost Rider during the 1990s, a role in which he worked with writers like Howard Mackie and later returned for series such as Ghost Rider: Danny Ketch and Ghost Rider: Return of Vengeance.
In addition to Marvel, Saltares has worked for Dark Horse Comics, notably on the Predator and Aliens vs. Predator franchises, including Aliens vs. Predator: Duel and Predator: Prey to the Heavens. His other credits include work for IDW Publishing on G.I. Joe, working with Chuck Dixon, and The Transformers, as well as Catwoman and Flash for DC in the 1990s. He also created the one-shot comic David's Mighty Men and continues to work as an illustrator for Jarv Art LLC.
Bob Hall
Bob Hall is a writer, artist, and editor who started his career with Marvel back in 1974. Hall’s early work included drawing for The Champions and Super-Villain Team-Up. He served as the primary artist on the original Squadron Supreme series and was the regular artist for The Avengers. Notable credits include issues of Amazing Spider-Man, Thor, Fantastic Four, and the graphic novel Emperor Doom. He also worked briefly as an editor in the Marvel bullpen under Jim Shooter in 1978–1979. Bob also created the movie adaption comics for Willow, Dark Man, and Captain America.
He is best known at Marvel for co-creating the West Coast Avengers.
Bob’s first DC work appeared in Weird War Tales #100 in 1981, and he later wrote and illustrated three graphic novels for DC’s Prestige Series: "Batman DOA", "I, Joker", and the mini-series "It’s Jokertime". He also contributed to ongoing Batman titles and House of Mystery.
Also working for Valiant Comics, Hall wrote and penciled the monthly series Shadowman, wrote the series Timewalker, and created the noir series Armed and Dangerous.
